Renea (Re-nay) is an independent digital artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Inspired by themes of the natural world, her work incorporates mid-century modern influences through graphic shape, rich texture, and earthy color.
Before turning to art, Renea worked for 14 years as a creative at graphic design studios Orangeseed and Sans Serif. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the College of Visual Arts.
In her spare hours, Renea enjoys nature hikes, books, and board games. She keeps houseplants in various stages of health and plays piano badly. She lives with her husband and two willful cats in South Minneapolis.
