Hello there! I’m Renea L. Thull, an independent digital artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (You can pronounce my first name Ruh-nay, and I use she/her pronouns.) My work is often inspired by the natural world, incorporating mid-century and folk art influences through graphic shape, rich texture, and earthy color.
Before turning to art, I worked for 14 years as a creative at graphic design studios Orangeseed and Sans Serif. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design from the College of Visual Arts.
In my spare hours, I enjoy nature hikes, music, books, and games. I keep houseplants in various stages of health and play piano badly. I live with my husband and two willful cats in South Minneapolis.
